Join us in the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden’s cozy Backcountry Hawk’s Nest Library for a special bilingual read-along of Luna Oscura by Heidi Moreno, presented in both English and Spanish.

Deep in a dark forest lives a community of cats. Among them is Luna, a black cat who is ostracized by the others because of superstitious beliefs. With the help of her trusty companion, Toad, Luna sets out to find her forever home and discover her own power. Along the way, she learns an important lesson: Black cats are magic.

This heartwarming story celebrates friendship, belonging, and finding the magic within yourself.
